Hail March Whitmore
--{ Those who cannot recall the past are condemned to repeat it.}--
So what's your name? Hail Whitmore
Well my names Beck, so kid when were you born? 28
Cool, so what are you, male or female? Male
So how would you describe yourself? Hail is a very thin, tall figure. He has very short nails, for he bites them when he's bored or they start to get in his way. They never get much dirt under them, because he has superstitions about being clean, he also showers more frequently than necessary. His eyes are a very light blue, an icy color that present chilled emotion. His hair is a bird's nest, pieces falling every which way, half way past his ears. It's a faded chocolate color and a few pieces of it have lost color, appearing washed out.
Got any special markings? When I was made I was born with a feather shaped birthmark on my back. He has a crescent shaped scar, very faint, between his hairline and right eyebrow.
So whatcha like? How are you personality wise? In a usual state, he's pretty calm and relaxed. Hail drops his guard easily. He has a certain, small amount of paranoia, so his mind frequently that someone is up to something bad, which isn't always wrong. Hail isn't easy to agitate and will avoid confrontation unless he is adhering to facts and feels that his words are necessity. He is often anxious about things he's about to do regardless of the fact that he's good at what he does. Once he gets an idea or opinion or testable question, he is compulsive in needing to research and find answers. He prefers avian hybrids and has a firm dislike of most canines. Lesser scientists get on his nerves; asking question after question? Try your teachers. He enjoys quoting others but never thinks anything he has to say has any brilliance. He attempts to push the limits of nature farther than most's morals take as okay. He doesn't like being outside and his actual home off the island has the cleanliness of a mental hospital. He finds wars interesting from a historical perspective though has no wish to be in battle himself. You'd be more likely to find him commanding from afar. He'd rather spend his time time sleeping during the day than doing anything; he borders on nocturnal. He is, by loose definition, a genius. This makes him a valuable asset to the lab.
So what's your style, what do you like to wear? Dr. Miller likes to wear similar things on a daily basis. When he goes out, often he wears steel-toed boots as a personal way of arming himself. Trench coats are among his favorites. A quirk of his is to wear reflective sunglasses regardless of the occasion, causing him to have a lesser presence in his opinion.
--{Life's a show, and we all play a part}--
So you are a scientist, huh. You must be real proud.
--{Life's a song you don't get to rehearse}--
Got a history? 10-14 At the tender age of ten, he was doing better in school than any kid had in years. No one acknowledged it then, but he was doing top notch work and had educated himself well in sciences. He could identify other things teachers failed to recognize under microscopes and had an extremely steady hand. At 14, his father put his hand down and said: 'Kid, there's something special with you.' 15-20
They took him to be examined, his IQ and all. He worked swiftly through the test, missing very little. As soon as his father realized what exactly his son was capable of, he started trying to persuade him to learn how to hack into computers. He did eventually learn how, but made his father exceptionally mad when he wouldn't be his slave. 18 on the spot, he moved into an apartment by himself.
20-23 His father, not to be out done by this youth, persisted on him to 'support his poor old dad' and help him stay around longer by earning money to support his filthy drinking. Heck, they gave Lexi beer. Barbarians, Hail thought. A disgrace to him. At times he wanted to kill his father for doing all this, it was truly painful for him.
23-28 Twenty-three, he had his own house. He had just fallen in love and proposed to a woman named Andrea. (Everything seemed to change when he saw her face, the sky and trees all blurred every time he looked at her.) They had found their missing pieces, though Hail continuously refused to tell her what he did for a living and one day she followed him to one of the labs. A quarrel was taking place between two hybrids, one trying to keep a fleeing hybrid from escaping. The one trying to escape thought Andrea was a white coat and stabbed her with a piece of glass. She died in Hail's arms. Medium sized, but nonetheless a three-storied, new home. He built his own lab in the basement, and one night while at the local science center, he met someone looking for a man with abilities like his for a job that had to do with experimenting on humans. It sounded horrendously interesting, and rare as an opportunity, like once in a life time. He took them up on it and wasn't going to back out, not over his dead body. Once he realized what he was to do with DNA, and its major sciences, he couldn't control his thoughts, and began to work madly, not missing work for a fever.
